

Bring your kids for a FREE interactive educational concert, as Cliburn Kids on the Road presents "Keys to America" celebrating early American music at Chandor Gardens.
Chandor Gardens Foundation Inc. is honored to be collaborating with The Cliburn to offer its music education program Cliburn Kids on the Road for elementary school age children (6 to 12 years old) on Friday, March 20, 2026 in the Great Room of the Chandor house at Chandor Gardens, 711 W. Lee Ave, Weatherford, TX from 11:00 A.M. to Noon.
If you are looking for a fun interactive activity for your child during spring break this, is it. Plus, class participants and their family members are welcome to explore Chandor Gardens after the class.
The theme for this event is "Keys to America"
America’s 250th birthday is in 2026, and every celebration needs good music! In this program of early American music, we look back in time at the early cultural life of our nation and discover the composers who created a uniquely American sound.
Featured Composers & Music:
The Cliburn Kids on the Road program introduces young audiences to classical music. This program presents the excitement of live piano performances to students and reinforce the basic elements of music through fun, interactive activities within the context of classical piano repertoire, which enable students to approach music through multiple intelligences.
